Pengarah ARIBF PNG V5

Welcome to the Asian Research Institute of Banking and Finance (ARIBF) website. As one of the University Centres of Excellence (U-CoE) at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), ARIBF is committed to engage in demand-driven and industrial based high impact research, with emphasis on real world problems and issues facing humankind today, especially at the regional, national, and local levels. As a U-COE, ARIBF provides a conducive platform and environment for academics, scholars, experts, and industry players around the world from various disciplines to immerse and embark on highly scholarly and academic activities, in line with UUM’s niche areas of Economic and Financial Analysis and Policy, and eventually creating a leading Centre of Excellence in the field of Management. ARIBF currently has four research clusters: Corporate Finance, Financial History, Financial Institutions and Market, and Conventional and Islamic Banking. Feel free to browse through the website especially the detailed information on research and publications and other activities and programmes of these research clusters for future collaboration and networking. It is my belief that ARIBF will ultimately establish itself as a centre of reference to all parties concerned especially in the area of banking and finance in Asia, be it the government, industry, academics, and society as a whole.
