SEFB Online (5 March 2019): MyAgrosis UUM, in collaboration with Muda Agricultural Development Authority (MADA) has organized a “MADA Talk: MyAgrosis Club Campaign Program”, aiming at exposing students on business and agricultural channels if they are interested to venture into those fields. In addition, this program exposes students on the importance of agricultural industry nowadays besides providing information on agricultural grants and agricultural training available to students after graduating.
The talk was delivered by Mr Mohd Shahrizal Mohd Noor, Marketing Head of MADA. The program was also attended by Madam Latifah Ahmad, Manager of Agrobank Kangar, who gave information on loans available to prospective entrepreneurs especially graduates who wish to venture into the agriculture sector.
A total of 80 Universiti Utara Malaysia students from various programs attending the talk, which was also attended by Madam Hasfa Azian Zakaria, Coordinator of Myagrosis Program, Mr Abdullah Suhaimi, MADA Officer, Prof Dr. Russayani Ismail, Dean of the School of Economics, Finance and Banking (SEFB) and Myagrosis Club Adviser, Dr Nur Marina Abdul Manap
